  • There are several great ways to jump in and start playing!

    • Pickup Play: Courts are open for pickup games Monday–Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On weekends, courts are usually available Saturday evenings after 5:00 PM, but Sundays from March to December are reserved for leagues and tournaments.

  • Spring, Summer, and Fall leagues run for 10 weeks, while Winter league lasts 8 weeks.

  • CC - Relatively new to volleyball – Happy to get the ball over the net, vague understanding of the rules, hasn't played much if any doubles. Maybe athletic, but no real skill yet.

B - Competent– Is gaining ball control, can get it over the net, has an understanding of the rules and the concept of three hits, mostly plays 4’s and maybe some 6’s and doubles. Some combination of athletic and skill.

BB – Intermediate – Practices bump set spike, consistent at most skills, and has decent court mobility, mostly 4’s and doubles. Good athlete, good skills.

A – Advanced – Open level players included here - Very consistent passing, setting, and hitting. Has multiple ways of siding out. Plays 4’s and doubles. Very good to elite athlete.

  • Most leagues are four’s coed (two females, two males). We also run doubles and sixes leagues. Our leagues are Ladder League format. You will sign up to start in a specific division. Each subsequent week you will play the teams closest to you in win / loss percentage. As you climb the ladder, you will play tougher competition, and vice versa.

  • Teams play as many games as possible within 1 hour and 50 minutes, usually 4 to 5 games per night.

  • Teams typically play 38-45 games throughout the league.

  • Schedules are released weekly and based on win percentage, ensuring evenly matched competition.

  • Games are played to 21 points, with teams switching sides at 11 points. Win by 2, with a 26-point cap. The goal is for each team to play every team in their pool at least once.

  • The tenth week, teams are broken up into brackets based on the final rankings and participate in a single-elimination tournament. League and tournament winners receive prizes and accolades (Traditional match style is used for tournament week).

  • The “sitting team” first is always the fourth-ranked team in the pool. Rankings are based solely on win / loss percentage. We know it is frustrating to get less volleyball in! The rule we have in place for leagues formatted for five-team pools is that if a team is scheduled to sit first for the third consecutive week, they will be moved. Additionally, if it is the fourth time in any given season, we are happy to adjust your pool so your team does not sit first. The captain just has to email jonny@seeyouatbills.com.

  • Most leagues have an early and a late starting time. The top half of the teams, based on ranking, will play early one week, then late the next – the bottom half teams will play the opposite time slots. If you are a team consistently ranked in the middle, your team may play one specific time slot as you jump back and forth from top half to bottom half.
